Hi Mazzy has always been nervous of other dogs, but we have never given up trying to socialise her. She takes a little time to get used to other dogs. As a youngkin she was a puppy school dropout. (We should teach her to sing that ). It would be great to pair her up with a dog that is calm in a...

We put beef jerky (cos it stinks) in a stocking and tie it with rope to the roof of our pergola and wesley swings off it all day long to try and get the beef jerky out. When it is tied to the roof it prevents it being buried by our other dog.

It seems cheaper than its competitors and the quote for Wesley was $25 monthly for accident cover only, $55 for accident and illness cover and $63 for illness accident and routine care. The illness cover covers antibiotics if the dog ever needs them, and vet visits for things such as upset stomachs and ear infections is all covered by illness. The routine care covers check up visits as well and you have an allowance for flea and tick treatments, preventative care and behavioural constultants and all sorts of things. It seemed the best value around. You can choose between 70% and 80% cover, so these prices are for the 80% cover. (i also checked, getting cheeky items like toys and socks removed from dogs stomachs after they are eaten counts as accidental and is covered)  less

By popular demand, here is the recipe i use to make risotto for Wesley. (This amount feeds two very active dogs for about 4 days) All values are approximated, it still works if you alter it (almost any vegetable works, but avoid cabbage as it seems to go right through) Half a brocolli stal...

I feed Wesley what i call risotto, but in fact i just throw in carrots zucchini pumpkin corn peas rolled oats rice cheap red meat cuts and any other vegetable all diced small until they are soft and then i just add rice until all the excess water is absorbed. It is great because he gets a bowl of this and approved complete dry food (for all the nitty gritty nutrients he needs) and it is the same calorie content as a small bowl of dry food, but is a big bowl and prevents choking from scoffing because its soft. Wesley loves it

Certainly! i believe that indescriminate breeding is wrong, and have only ever purchased dogs from registered breeders or RSPCA shelters.
